I very much doubt that every single one of these limestone karst formations in China’s Guangxi Province has had a human visitor to it’s top. They are all ruggedly formed, steep and covered in very thick vegetation. This is the view from the top of one of the better known ones – Moon Hill. It had a very indistinct path that led to its summit and I guess it was this fact, along with the signs saying ‘No Passengers’ at the foot of said path, that meant we had the top completely to ourselves. I’m glad we made the effort as the views of this weird landscape from the top were truly spectacular.
