Today’s horrible, filthy job managed to turn up half an hour of fun. A dirty loft, full of boxes and stuff we thought we needed to store, had to be cleared in anticipation of incoming tenants. One box we discovered was labelled ‘long dresses’ and contained this selection of wedding, bridesmaids and ball dresses from years gone by. Wife (just) and younger daughter (almost perfectly) fitted them with laughter and style; so much so that a couple of them may well come with us to Hong Kong instead of going back into boxes. Just what sort of events they think I’m going to take them to I don’t know!

They look lovely! Might be much for HK though
Hee Hee, you’re right Madhu. That’s the problem with trying on nice dresses I suppose…try stopping a few of them coming with us now!! They’ll sit on a hanger in a wardrobe and slowly rot in the humidity, more’s the shame.
These dresses are awesome!
Thanks for the compliment, I’ll pass it on to the ladies wearing them; they’ll appreciate it. It’s a shame that most of them have gone back into the box for another period of storage isn’t it?
